February 2015, I started at Hirschbach as an OTR lease operator. By November 2015, I transitioned into the office as a Fuel Compliance Specialist, where I helped revitalize the fuel program. Over time, I moved into leadership roles managing OS&D, trailers, and sustainability. I contributed to several key company initiatives, including the EFS and Comdata transitions, Relay Payments, and the Hirschbach Hub app. I also represented the company by operating the show trailer at both major and regional truck shows alongside the recruiting team.

In September 2019, I returned to the road as an OTR lease operator, where I remained until May 2021. During that time, I spoke on sustainability panels at the American Trucking Association’s 2020 TMC Annual Meeting and participated in discussions on Greenbiz.com alongside leaders from the North American Council on Freight Efficiency, Shell, Peterbilt, and Pepsi/FritoLay. In 2021, I was recognized as a Highway Angel by the Truckload Carriers Association for extinguishing an in-cab truck fire on the highway. That same year, I earned Hirschbach’s Best of the Best Platinum award.

Since returning to the office in 2021, I have supported operations projects and served in multiple leadership roles, including OTR Driver Leader, OTR Driver Experience Advisor, and now Dedicated Driver Leader.

Prior to Hirschbach, I managed a small trucking company in Wisconsin, worked as a paramedic in both Chicago and rural Illinois, and served as a Storekeeper in the U.S. Navy, earning campaign medals for Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom.
